History

Since our founding, ACI has prioritized the enhancement of staff expertise along with growth of the practice. Staff are supported in their continuing education efforts and participation at conferences, trade shows, industry forums and webinars. What they learn outside also becomes the topic of an internal ‘lunch and learn’ where information is then shared with the team. The atmosphere is youthful, light and dynamic; turnover is low, principals are highly motivated and involved at all project levels, bringing an experience base that spans institutional (healthcare and schools), commercial (office buildings), and industrial (audits, retrofits, safety upgrades) projects. We also offer a range of protective services buildings (police, EMS, RCMP and fire) through our sister company Stephens Kozak-ACI Architects and Planners. We are one of few firms that can provide analysis, functional programming and design input for our healthcare clients with a former registered nurse, working now as an intern architect towards her architectural license, following twenty years of practical nursing experience.
