20th Jeux Francophone Games of Alberta

Zone 4 – Centralta was very well represented at the 20th Jeux Francophones Games of Alberta, which was recently hosted in Grande Prairie (May 30-June 1). Chef de mission Monique Lavallée, who was recently awarded “French ambassador for French Sport in Alberta”, brought 48 athletes and trainers to take part in this event. The signature Red Water Bottles, sponsored by ACI Architects, were definitely noticed and appreciated by all. In the name of the Zone 4 delegation, Monique Lavallée received two incredible awards at the closing ceremony: the “Linda Beaudet Award (Sportsmanship Award)” and the “Friendship Award”. Over 400 athletes from all over Alberta took part in this event, from which eight Zone 4 students were selected to represent Alberta in Gatineau, Quebec this July for the Canadian Francophone Games. Thank you to ACI Architects Inc. for having so kindly sponsored our team.
